Zhang Ziyi (Chinese: 章子怡; born February 9, 1979) is a prominent Chinese actress renowned for her remarkable contributions to both Chinese and international cinema. She first gained significant attention with her performance in The Road Home (1999), which set the stage for her burgeoning career.
