Johny Antony is a prominent Indian filmmaker and actor, celebrated for his contributions to the comedy genre within Malayalam cinema. Hailing from Changanassery in the Kottayam district of Kerala, he honed his skills over a decade working as an assistant director alongside notable filmmakers such as Thulasidas, Taha, Kamal, and Jose Thomas. In 2003, he stepped into the limelight with his directorial debut, the uproarious comedy *C.I.D. Moosa*, which set the tone for his future projects.
Antony's filmography boasts several successful comedies, including *Kochi Rajavu* (2005), *Thuruppu Gulan* (2006), *Cycle* (2008), and *Ee Pattanathil Bhootham* (2009).
