Tom Morello
Biography
Tom Morello, born on May 30, 1964, in New York City, is renowned for his innovative guitar skills and significant contributions to rock music, particularly through his role in Rage Against the Machine during the 1990s. A graduate of Harvard University, where he earned a degree in Social Studies, Morello moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in music.
Before establishing himself with Rage Against the Machine, he played guitar for a band called Lock Up alongside Zack De La Rocha, who would later become his bandmate. Morello’s unique style, which blends elements of rock, punk, and hip-hop, has made him a standout figure in the music industry. His work with Rage Against the Machine yielded several critically acclaimed albums, including "Evil Empire" and "The Battle of Los Angeles," both of which cemented their status as icons of political rock.
