Mel Blanc (May 30, 1908 – July 10, 1989) was a renowned American voice actor and comedian.
Blanc's extensive career, spanning nearly sixty years, initially took off in the realm of radio advertising. However, he is most famously recognized for his contributions to Warner Bros. during the "Golden Age of American animation," as well as his later work with Hanna-Barbera television productions. He lent his distinctive voice to a plethora of iconic characters, including Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Sylvester the Cat, Tweety Bird, Foghorn Leghorn, Yosemite Sam, Wile E. Coyote, Woody Woodpecker, Barney Rubble, Mr. Spacely, Speed Buggy, Captain Caveman, Heathcliff, Speedy Gonzales, Elmer Fudd, and many more. His remarkable talent earned him the title “The Man of a Thousand Voices,” solidifying his status as a pivotal figure in the voice acting field.
