In 1995, just before the sweeping gun ban took effect, Mangya Town's peace was destroyed. A feared bandit chief, who had stashed away a fortune in loot, escaped from prison. Forty-three hardened criminals converged from every direction, rallying behind their leader, Beishan, to seize Mangya by force. The town was trapped in a nightmare—no fuel, no communications! The outlaws demanded money and blood. Gunfire tore through Mangya as a colossal sandstorm approached.
