A mother capybara and her pups are forced to abandon their lagoon when a hunter moves in. Seeking refuge in a nearby chicken coop, they're met with hostility from the hens, who fear their daily rhythm will be disrupted. Despite the adults' efforts to enforce strict separation, the youngest capybara and a curious chick defy the rules to secretly befriend one another. Their innocent risk-taking sets off a chain of events that culminates in an unforeseen resolution, transforming the futures of both species and potentially influencing the lives of other creatures in the area.
