Kiki, a canary who has spent his whole life inside a cage, knows nothing beyond its bars and the gentle routine of the old woman who cares for him. He longs to soar alongside the wild birds he glimpses through the window. One day, he finds the cage door left open and ventures out into the vast, unfamiliar world, where survival demands true flight. Yet, once he is finally free, he realizes that freedom can be just as terrifying as it is exhilarating.
