In "My Girl 2," Vada Sultenfuss is approaching a school holiday and faces a new challenge: writing an essay about someone she admires but has never met. Eager to learn more about her late mother, Vada soon discovers her knowledge is limited. To deepen her understanding, she persuades her father to allow her to travel to Los Angeles, where she stays with her Uncle Phil.
