His nurse orchestrates a surprise for him, convincing Elizabeth Lane's publisher, Alexander Yardley, to host Jeff at Elizabeth's picturesque Connecticut farm for Christmas. However, the catch is that Elizabeth's idyllic life is a fabrication.
