Larry Taylor
Biography
Larry Taylor was an accomplished English actor and stuntman, whose career spanned several decades. Before World War II, he dedicated twelve years to service in the British Army. Following the war, he transitioned into the film industry, where he carved out a niche for himself. He was the father of fellow actor Rocky Taylor. Throughout the 1950s to the early 1970s, Larry primarily took on villainous supporting roles, appearing in numerous British films and television series.
In the mid-1970s, Taylor relocated to South Africa, where he continued his acting career, engaging in a diverse array of international films shot in the region, as well as local South African productions. His versatility enabled him to adapt to different genres and formats, contributing to both film and television. Larry Taylor's body of work reflects his talent and dedication to his craft, leaving a lasting impact on the industry. His legacy continues through the work of his son, Rocky, who has followed in his father’s footsteps.
